A tribute to Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece, created for the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Manara reinterprets the fragility and nobility of Cio-Cio-San, weaving the drama of opera into the sensuality of contemporary illustration. Comic art enters the temple of great music: like every J.Rose artwork, a language born popular becomes art to be treasured.
No one is stronger than she who can break without bending.
Distillate Profile
The predominant notes of J.Rose are those of juniper.
On the nose it is warm and pungent. Delicate citrus hints of bergamot and mandarin peel refresh the breath and give it a soft, silky balance. The aroma of prickly pear blossoms bounces from nose to palate, releasing a fruity aftertaste. Its woody essence comes from oak bark, characterised by toasted notes reminiscent of hazelnut and walnut.
J.Rose is transparent and clear in colour. On contact with ice and tonic, the essential oils of bergamot expand and give the cocktail a silvery, naturally cloudy sheen.
Its 43% ABV enhances the nine botanicals, making it a perfect gin for the most exclusive cocktails.
